The inmates of San-Ker rehabiltiation Centre in Shillong line up for the dinner, cooked in the Hazarika home in Shillong, to mark the fourth anniversary of the passing of Maya Hazarika, the mother of Sanjoy and Dr. Suzoy Hazarika.

Human Rights Updates

The C-nes website is glad to start an information link to human rights issues through the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI)

so that our site visitors can access data, views and news on thus vital area which affects us all. We will also be providing a link to issues relating to Right to Information, also from the CHRI. This is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our website, making it more accessible, interesting and relevant to concerns not just in the North-east but across the world. Managing Trustee, C-nes, Sanjoy Hazarika, is a member of the Executive Board of CHRI whose Executive Director is Maja Daruwala.
