Fresh IT scholarships in Pune for NE toppers

The International Institute for Information Technology (I2IT) at Pune, Maharashtra, is offering two scholarships for the Masters Program in the field of Advanced Information Technology for the session beginning January 2005 to deserving students of the North East.

The offer by the Finolex Group of industries will cover the full tuition fees of the students ? the value of which is estimated at Rs. 2.5 lakh each. This is the second such round of scholarships by the Finolex Group which initiated the first batch in January 2004 and is being administered, as with the earlier scholarships, by the Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research.

The students are expected to meet their lodging and boarding expenses. Further information on the course and other details can be accessed at www.isquareit.com. The selected candidates will be picked by a Selection Committee headed by the eminent economist, Dr. Jayanta Madhab, and is an effort to develop and recognize the HR potential of the region.
